Mr.K.Unnikrishnan BE ( Mech ), Managing partner of U- MAC was with Servall for well over 10 years.He had a short stint in West Germany before starting U- MAC in 1990 .
Mr.N.Pattabhiraman BE ( Mech ) has served Voith for 14 long years as Technical expert and later
Our Design department is headed by Mr.P.Radhakrishnan BE Hons MS.( Wisconsin , USA ) who was Chief Designer of HMT & Bharat Fritz Werner. He has a dozen patents to his credit and won several All India awards at IMTEX . Machines like CNC lathes & Machining Centres are his creations.
U- MAC has been supplying PAPER PLANT MACHINERY for the last 15 years , since 1990. Many successful installations all over India and our list of customers run into several sheets. Our well equipped plant at Coimbatore has manufacturing and testing facility to guarantee international parameters of our products. 1.All gears confirm to Din 3962/3967 standard class 6 or 7. 2.All shafts are designed and manufactured to meet corresponding CMTI standard meeting slope at bearings and deflections at gears to meet German practice. 3.All bearings are calculated and sized as per CMTI / SKF ? FAG recommendations of loading , life and fit tolerances , IS :5692. 4.All power transmission elements are made to corresponding Indian Standard ( IS :2494,2535,2710,3142,7008 etc ). 5.All materials ( cast Iron , alloy steels , ss , non ferrous metals ) are procured as per the corresponding IS : HMT , BFW standards . ( IS : 210, 318, 1030 , AIS 302 , 304 ) 6.Critical standard parts are procured only from internationally acclaimed vendors like SKF / FAG / Vickers / Rexroth / Yuken / Siemens / L & T / Unbrako / Festo / Busak / Winner / Euhner / Baulf / Technic. 7.Fluid power design are as per IS : 7513 & CETOP standards. 8.Springs are as per DIN 2089 , 2095 & IS : 4544. 9.Piping & pumps are as per Voith / KSB practices. We work as a cluster along with reputed foundries , fabrication , heat treaters CNC machines , gear grinders , roll grinders etc. We have established special facilities to machine , slotted screens of 0.2 to 0.4 mm ( slot - widths ) with a 2000 Amp - Electrolytic deburring plant.
We have in - house test facility to fine tune :
We have test stands for oil Hydraulic , pneumatic and water lines. We can prepare software for micro controllers & debug the same.
